Our client is currently looking for a skilled mechanic to join their growing team in maintaining, servicing, and repairing a fleet of vehicles, plant, and miscellaneous equipment. Ideally, they are looking for Heavy Vehicle Mechanics however, they are willing to consider Light Vehicle Mechanics that are eager to learn and develop their skills. The pay rate will depend on the candidate’s skills and level of experience. Apprentices or recently graduated mechanics are encouraged to apply.

The Role:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs of engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air systems, brake systems and all other mechanical and electrical related matters.
• Compile service records on maintenance activities carried out on items of plant.
• Carry out body repairs including minor fabrication, welding and spray painting.
• Assist in the training of apprentices or new members of the team and assist fellow colleagues where help is needed.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Essential:

• White Card
• ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
• Certified Diesel Mechanic and/or Certified Mechanical Fitter

Highly Regarded:

• HR Licence
• Post Qualification Certificates
