A Day in The Life

Your day to day will involve the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain asset registers for roads and drainage, ensuring effective management and financial reporting.
• Provide GIS expertise for infrastructure, utilizing GIS-based asset data and customer enquiry datasets.
• Coordinate asset data through its life cycle, including creation, survey, and accuracy checks.
• Assist in developing advanced asset and service management plans.
• Maintain and review the quality of Council's asset database, implementing improvement measures.
• Offer advice and collaborate with consulting engineers to optimize asset performance and recognition.
• Understand asset construction, Financial Asset Management, and Asset Management Plan development.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills for managing relationships at all levels.

The Ideal Candidate

• Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence.
• Relevant technical qualification in Infrastructure Asset management or demonstrated experience.
