As part of a much larger group and well established organisation, this vacancy exists within their Road Safety Equipment business based in Launceston who are dedicated to delivering exceptional products, services and solutions to their clients. With a strong focus on sales (2 sales employees reporting through to you), key account management, and customer satisfaction, they are seeking a talented individual to lead their branch operations with a vision for growth and excellence.

As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing key accounts, and leading a team of six dedicated professionals. This role requires expertise in dealing with councils, traffic safety, or Civil sectors, along with a strong customer focus and a growth mindset. Reporting directly to the board, this highly autonomous role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on their business while overseeing operations in Launceston.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of six employees, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability.
  • Utilize your experience in dealing with councils, traffic, or Civil sectors to navigate regulatory requirements and identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the board to provide regular updates on branch performance, market trends, and strategic insights.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, key account management, and team leadership, preferably within Civil, Traffic Management or councils.
  • Strong understanding of councils, traffic, or Civil sectors, with a demonstrated track record of success in this area.
