Place Manager – Local Government

This position will see you alongside the local government team to lead and coordinate, prioritise and deliver place making and capital works projects and programs, actively promote good urban design outcomes and work with internal and external partners in driving economic and community-based growth opportunities across the activity centres.

• Hourly rate up to $65.77 + Super
• Monday to Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm)

A Day in the Life:

• Lead and manage the scoping, programming and delivery of projects
• Actively monitor the delivery of significant place based programs and projects from a holistic perspective
• Pursue internal and external funding to deliver high quality design outcomes for the city and the community
• Lead the drafting and delivery of implementation strategies
• Oversee the coordination, updating and delivery of activity centre Implementation

The Ideal Candidate:

• Tertiary qualifications in relevant field is highly regarded
• Knowledge of end-to-end program and project management skills
• Experience in leading and delivering place based initiatives including capital works or investment attraction projects
• Valid C class drivers’ licence
