Spray Painter / Trades Assistant

Our client has been a market leader in industrial motors for over 30 years. This has paved the way for their success in home appliances - air conditioners, fridges, freezers, washing machines and clothes dryers.

The Opportunity:

They are looking for a Spray Painter / Trades Assistant to join their warehouse in Kewdale. You don't need any formal qualifications but some experience in spray painting and a warehouse environment would be great!

What your day will look like:

• Preparing and spray painting electric motors and other components as required
• Assisting with packaging / transport preparation of finished goods
• Training on how to carry out minor modifications to electric motors as directed
• Assembly of electric motors as required
• General warehousing duties ie unpacking and putting away spare parts, checking of delivery dockets and other tasks as directed
• Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard with a strong focus on safety at all times

Who we are looking for:

• A great ATTITUDE and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Some experience in spray painting and a warehourse environment/forklift license preferred
• A team player
