Gardener

  • Location: Hadfield
  • Salary: Up to $40 per hour + Super
  • Ongoing with a view to full time
  • Roster: Mon – Fri 6:30AM – 3:00PM
  • Training provided

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planting trees by hand
  • Perform routine maintenance of garden beds including weeding, planting, and mulching.
  • Operate ride-on mowers and small plant equipment according to schedules.
  • Drive and maintain equipment, ensuring safe operation.
  • Report incidents, accidents, and equipment issues promptly.
  • Apply pesticides as required and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Provide on-the-job training to apprentices.
  • Contribute to landscape improvements and attend crew meetings.



To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Experience in horticulture for parks and garden maintenance.
  • Trade Certificate in Gardenening.
  • MR Licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid
  • Traffic Control Card
  • National Police Check issued in the last 6 months
  • Ability to commit to rosters with a proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.
