They are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Operations Manager who can hit the ground running and take them to a new level as they continue their growth trajectory. The Operations team are in charge of energy solution installations and are critical to the ongoing success of the business.

Working within a fast-paced and dynamic team, the Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organisation to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with strategic goals.

This role involves managing, and developing strong relationships with Trades, improving operational processes, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. It will also include occasional travel to project sites or client locations to ensure the installation team is consistently delivering exceptional service delivery.

The Key Responsibilities will be:

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure optimal performance
  • Develop and implement operational policies, processes, and procedures
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive improvements

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Process Optimisation

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to streamline operations
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Monitor and improve supply chain, logistics, and project delivery processes

Financial Oversight

  • Manage operational budgets and track expenses
  • Analyse financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate with finance to prepare reports and forecasts

Customer and Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to address operational challenges
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors

Risk Management

  • Assess operational risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure the business continuity plan is updated and effective

Qualifications & Experience

  • Air conditioning installation experience
  • VEU Experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong trade knowledge and trade contacts
  • Trade management experience - dealing with and managing Trades
  • Strong knowledge of operations management software and tools
  • Proficiency in Dataforce (preferred) and in data analysis and operational metrics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed business targets and budgets
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams and driving performance
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
