💰 $47 per hour + 11.5% Super

🕘 Monday to Friday, 6:45am – 3:55pm

Logan City Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join their dedicated team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of council’s diverse fleet – including vehicles, plant, and equipment.

Whether you’re an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or Light Vehicle Mechanic keen to expand your skills, we want to hear from you!

🔧 A Day in the Life:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on vehicles, plant, and equipment.
  
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems.
  
• Complete service records and maintenance documentation.
  
• Undertake fabrication, welding, and spray painting.
  
• Mentor apprentices or new team members and support colleagues where needed.
  
  ✅ What You’ll Need:
  
• Construction White Card
  
• Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  
• Relevant experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, or Auto-Electrician
  
• HR Licence (Highly Regarded, not essential)
  
• Relevant mechanical trade qualifications (Highly Regarded, not essential)
