A Day in the Life

Within Council’s road crew, you’ll assist construction and maintenance projects across the city completing a range of work that could include:

• Laying formwork and concrete for footpaths, kerbs, gutters, and drainage pits
• Performing bitumen road repairs and restorations
• Assisting with pipe laying, backfilling, and compaction
• Setting up signage and traffic control equipment

The Ideal Candidate

Essential:

• Construction White Card
• Current ‘C’ Class Driver Licence

Highly Regarded:

• HR Truck Licence
• Current Roller Ticket
• Proven experience in roads, civil construction or concreting
