Purchasing Controller / Counter Sales

• Salary: Up to $60,000 + super
• Location: Swan Hill, VIC 3585
• Hours: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm – 1 hr lunch break)

About the role & our client:

Our client is one of Australia’s largest electrical wholesalers and has been in business for 90+ years. We are looking for a reliable, punctual and enthusiastic Purchasing Controller to join the team.

Any experience in purchasing or inventory is beneficial but not essential, if you are looking to join a friendly and supportive team, willing to learn and grow with the business, we want to hear from you!

You will work closely with customers and the branch staff to ensure timely delivery of service and supply as well as assisting in trade counter sales.


Key responsibilities:

• Maintaining branch stock levels
• Knowledge of product range sold in the branch
• Managing slow stock
• Follow-up stock & customer backorders
• Attending supplier meetings and training sessions
• Assist customer enquiries & trade counter sales
• Must have great communication skills
• Able to work well within team environments
