Assistant Revenue Officer

• Hourly Rate: $36 ph casual rate
• Location: Dandenong, VIC
• Hours: Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm)
• Employment Type: Ongoing casual

The position of Assistant Revenue Officer will play a vital part in the organisation, working closely with the property & Revenue team and supporting the Senior Revenue Officer.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the relevant Acts, policies, procedures, practices, and systems as they relate to the Property Revenue functions.
• Maintaining an accurate rating financial database, daily update of receipt takings and issue Land Information Certificates.
• Provide efficient and effective rates administrative assistance for the Property Revenue section.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and be effective and efficient in its operations.

Key qualifications:

• Certificate III or IV in Accounting related field or equivalent knowledge skills and experience
• Thorough knowledge of rating functions and understanding of relevant provisions of the Local Government Act
