Procurement Support Officer
Our client, a government department has a great opportunity for someone who has some experience in procurement and is interested in a career in this industry. You will be assisting the team with managing tender processes for services for the maintenance of private and commercial buildings.
About you:
* You will have sound computer knowledge/skills, i.e. outlook, excel, word, etc and need to be comfortable with various databases; creating purchase orders
* You will need to be: comfortable working on individualised tasks, self-motivated, pro-active in sourcing assistance, information etc,
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of legislative and departmental requirements for procurement, and actively promote awareness of procurement as a key business function to all departmental staff.
* Provide a range of administrative support functions to members of the Procurement section as required.
* Willing to work in a fast paced environment with KPI’s and mechanisms to measure and monitor performance.
* Demonstrate professionalism, initiative and be a positive contributor to a great team and culture.
