We’re looking for a Junior Mechanic (or mechanically-minded individual) to join our team servicing and repairing a range of lawn and garden equipment. This is a great opportunity to learn on the job and develop your skills in small engine mechanics with guidance from experienced technicians.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with servicing, repairs, and maintenance of lawnmowers, brush cutters, chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment.
• Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for workshop jobs or customer delivery.
• Carry out basic mechanical tasks under supervision, including oil changes, blade sharpening, filter replacement, etc.
• Help maintain a tidy, safe, and organised workshop.
• Support the team with stock handling, equipment setups, and other general duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong interest in mechanics or outdoor power equipment.
• Some experience with tools or hands-on mechanical work (school, home, TAFE, or prior job).
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Positive attitude and team player.

Desirable

• Current driver's licence.
• Enrolled in or interested in starting a mechanical apprenticeship (small engines, automotive, or similar).
