About the Company
Our client is a highly respected and recognised brand with a well-established brokerage embedded within their group operations. They are now seeking a commercially minded, hands-on leader to drive the continued success of their insurance division with the advantage of a locked-in client base and the opportunity to expand nationally.
About the Role
This is a diverse, senior-level position where you will manage the full scope of insurance services for the group by protecting franchisees against financial loss, ensuring compliance, optimising costs, and delivering first-class service. You will also be at the forefront of growing the business into new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the brokerage operations
- Daily banking and reconciliation
- Full end of month process
- Oversee stakeholder relationships across the franchise network
- Ensure compliance with AFSL, ASIC, and industry regulations
- Manage renewals, claims, quotations, and financial reconciliation
- Monitor lapsed insurance policies and dishonoured loans, taking proactive action
- Drive profitability and identify new business opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma in Insurance Broking
- Proven leadership experience in a brokerage or insurance setting (min 5 years)
- Strong insurance sales/account management skills
- Solid understanding of compliance and industry regulations
- Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset for growth
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products and market trends
