Diesel Fitter - Mechanic

Are you a skilled Diesel Fitter/Mechanic with a passion for servicing heavy machinery? We’re looking for an experienced professional to keep our council’s fleet running smoothly and safely.

What You’ll Need:

• AUR31120 Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

• Queensland Heavy Vehicle Driver’s License (Class HR or above)

• Queensland Construction Induction (White/Blue Card)

• High Risk Work License – FL (Forklift)

• Blue Card

• Experience diagnosing automotive electrical & hydraulic systems

• Strong fault-finding skills in workshop & field

• Ability to mentor apprentices and work well in a team

Bonus Qualifications:

• Plant tickets

• Refrigerant Handling License (AAC002)

• High Risk Work License – DG (Dogging)

• Approved Examiner Accreditation

• Monday to Friday, 6am-3pm (hours to be confirmed on acceptance)
