Council Role - 9-Day Fortnight - Full-Time

Location: Narangba Depot

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm

RDO: 9-day fortnight

Employment Type: Full-time hours, casual in nature, with the potential for a permanent Council Position

About the Role:

Reporting to the on-site supervisor, you will assist with general labouring duties across our tree maintenance operations.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with tree pruning, removals, and maintenance

• Feeding chippers, raking, and cleaning up job sites

• Traffic control and support for elevated work teams

• Operating small machinery and hand tools

• Ensuring safety procedures are followed on-site

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in tree work, arboriculture, or outdoor labouring – preferred

• MR Licence – highly desirable

• White Card – required

• Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions

• A team player who follows direction and values safety

• Punctual, dependable, and ready to work
