Administration Officer

  • Monday to Friday 9:00-17.00
  • November until January 2026
  • $48.63 per hour + Super
  • Malvern

Key Responsibilites:

  • Working with policies and procedures, with excellent attention to detail. Interpret and integrate the objectives of the Food Act and Public Health and Wellbeing Act into administrative processes and forms.
  • Reconcile historical records to ensure alignment with information for accurate migration, this includes resolving discrepancies between or within existing systems.
  • Develop clear, logical workflows to support process and procedure improvements within a local government environment.
  • Supervise and guide resources, teams or other employees effectively, ensuring adherence to defined objectives and budgets while maintaining regular communication and reporting to senior management.


About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative roles supporting regulatory or environmental health functions, with the ability to manage competing priorities and support team objectives.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
  • Intermediate experience using MS Office and local government software would be highly regarded
  • Must possess a current [Working with Children Check/Valid Police Check] or be willing to obtain both prior to commencing employment
