Senior People & Culture Business Partner (Human Resources)
• Commence Mid-November
• Long-Term Contract (Secondment Cover)
• $75 - $85 per hour + Super

• Hybrid Role – Minimum 2 Days in Office (Lilydale Region)

Our client, a highly regarded Local Government Authority, is seeking a Senior People & Culture Leader to join their collaborative team on a long-term contract basis.

Working alongside a capable and supportive HR team, with one direct report to assist you, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across three major directorates. Your focus will be on providing expert guidance to leaders, managing complex case matters, and fostering positive workplace culture.

You’ll play a key role in:

• Managing and mitigating complex employee relations and case management issues.
• Coaching and supporting leaders to strengthen capability and confidence.
• Leading investigations and responding to employee grievances and disputes.
• Contributing to the design and delivery of in-house training initiatives.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Proven experience in a Senior People & Culture or HR Management role.
• Strong ER/IR expertise and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
• The ability to influence and partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Local Government experience (highly regarded but not essential).
