Media Advisor

• Monday to Friday 8:00-17:00
• November until March 2026
• $58 per hour + Super
• Logan Central

Key Responsibilites:

• Develop and implement media and communication strategies to support organisational objectives
• Provide strategic media and communication advice to key stakeholders
• Prepare media releases and speeches for stakeholders suitable for mainstream media and social media platforms
• Provide professionally written editorial, proofing and coordination of material suitable for high quality internal and external publications

About you:

• A degree in journalism, communications or public relations
• Previous experience in a media advisor or communications role in government or medium to large organisation with a dedicated media arm, or in a public relations agency is desirable
• Effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to liaise and influence all stakeholders, in particular media representatives.
• 'C' Class drivers licence
• Working with children card or willing to obtain
