Industrial Electrical Technician – NSW (Lead Tech)
Located in Peakhurst NSW
$40–$55 per hour + Company Vehicle + Fuel
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30am–4:00pm

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Technician to join our NSW team.
This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for service, installation, commissioning and repairs on industrial spray booth and ventilation systems.
You will work across electrical, controls and mechanical systems, leading jobs on-site and supervising two apprentices. The position reports directly to the NSW Branch Manager.
This role suits someone with strong industrial experience who enjoys variety, problem-solving and taking ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electromechanical systems
- Commission and test spray booth control systems and components
- Diagnose faults across motors, controls, PLCs and wiring
- Perform preventative maintenance and attend breakdowns
- Complete all service and commissioning documentation
- Oversee apprentices and provide on-site guidance
- Maintain vehicle stock, tools and cleanliness
- Follow all electrical standards, safety requirements and company procedures

Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- A-Grade NSW Electrical Licence
- Minimum 2+ years industrial or controls experience
- Experience working with motors, control systems, HVAC/dust & fume or similar equipment
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot independently
- Able to lead apprentices and run jobs on-site
- Strong mechanical aptitude
