Experienced Recruitment Consultant – White Collar | State Government

  • Are you an experienced recruiter ready to step into a desk with real momentum?
    • White-collar temp recruitment with a strong State Government focus
    • Hot desk with genuine scope to grow and capitalise
    • Murarrie office base | Onsite parking
    • Permanent, secure role backed by government contracts & national accounts
    • Excellent earning potential + long list of benefits
    • Be part of a high-growth, high-energy team (yes, we enjoy a lot of banter)

About the Role

This is not a “start-from-scratch” desk and it’s not a maintenance-only role either.

We’re looking for an experienced recruitment consultant to take ownership of an established white-collar desk with a strong footprint across State Government. The relationships, frameworks and opportunities are already in place, what we need is someone with drive, commercial acumen and confidence to truly grow and maximise the potential of what’s been built. Previous incumbent has been in the role for 4+ years and due to her ability to produce quality candidates the desk is in a strong position.

You’ll have the autonomy to run your desk like a business, supported by a team that understands government recruitment, compliance and delivery at scale.

  • End-to-end recruitment: job briefs, sourcing, interviewing, compliance and placement
  • Proactively identifying new opportunities within existing government frameworks
  • Delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates
  • Working collaboratively with a high-performing, professional team

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven recruitment experience (agency experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience recruiting into white-collar roles (government experience highly regarded)
  • A strong commercial mindset; you understand desk ownership and growth
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and a professional presentation
  • Confidence, resilience and a genuine desire to build a long-term recruitment career

What’s In It for You

  • Hot desk with established government work and real growth potential
  • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
  • Secure, permanent role in a stable business with long-term contracts
  • Benefits including additional leave options, leave loading, gym memberships, annual leave buy-back and more (qualifying period applies)
  • Supportive leadership, strong systems and a culture that balances professionalism with plenty of laughs
