Project Manager – Building & Facilities

💰 Rate: $59.61 – $63.33 per hour + Super
Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager with strong building and facilities delivery experience to join its Project Management team.
This role will see you managing the end-to-end delivery of complex building and community infrastructure projects that directly support the needs of residents and the wider region.
About the role
Reporting to the Coordinator, Project Management & Delivery, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of building and facilities projects from planning and procurement through to construction, handover and defects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end delivery of building and facilities construction projects
- Coordinating consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Overseeing procurement, contract administration and construction delivery
- Managing approvals, reporting, budgets and project schedules
- Resolving construction and delivery issues across active sites
- Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards and Council requirements
- Assessing and certifying contractor progress claims
- Providing technical advice and recommendations to stakeholders
About you
You’re a confident and capable project professional who thrives in complex construction environments and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish.
You will bring:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager
- Strong background in building and facilities projects (e.g. community buildings, sporting facilities, commercial buildings)
- Solid understanding of construction legislation, WHS and Australian Standards
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative, safety-focused approach to project delivery
Qualifications & requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
- Current C Class driver’s licence
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- ACDC License or willing to obtain
