🕗 Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
💰 Rate: $59.61 – $63.33 per hour + Super

Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager with strong building and facilities delivery experience to join its Project Management team.

This role will see you managing the end-to-end delivery of complex building and community infrastructure projects that directly support the needs of residents and the wider region.

About the role

Reporting to the Coordinator, Project Management & Delivery, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of building and facilities projects from planning and procurement through to construction, handover and defects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of building and facilities construction projects
  • Coordinating consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders
  • Overseeing procurement, contract administration and construction delivery
  • Managing approvals, reporting, budgets and project schedules
  • Resolving construction and delivery issues across active sites
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards and Council requirements
  • Assessing and certifying contractor progress claims
  • Providing technical advice and recommendations to stakeholders

About you

You’re a confident and capable project professional who thrives in complex construction environments and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager
  • Strong background in building and facilities projects (e.g. community buildings, sporting facilities, commercial buildings)
  • Solid understanding of construction legislation, WHS and Australian Standards
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A collaborative, safety-focused approach to project delivery

Qualifications & requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
  • Current C Class driver’s licence
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • ACDC License or willing to obtain
