Industrial Electrical Technician – NSW (Lead Tech)

Located in Peakhurst NSW
$40–$55 per hour + Company Vehicle + Fuel
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30am–4:00pm

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Technician to join our NSW team.
This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for service, installation, commissioning and repairs on industrial spray booth and ventilation systems.

You will work across electrical, controls and mechanical systems, leading jobs on-site and supervising two apprentices. The position reports directly to the NSW Branch Manager.

This role suits someone with strong industrial experience who enjoys variety, problem-solving and taking ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electromechanical systems
  • Commission and test spray booth control systems and components
  • Diagnose faults across motors, controls, PLCs and wiring
  • Perform preventative maintenance and attend breakdowns
  • Complete all service and commissioning documentation
  • Oversee apprentices and provide on-site guidance
  • Maintain vehicle stock, tools and cleanliness
  • Follow all electrical standards, safety requirements and company procedures

Skills & Experience Required

Essential:

  • A-Grade NSW Electrical Licence
  • Minimum 2+ years industrial or controls experience
  • Experience working with motors, control systems, HVAC/dust & fume or similar equipment
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot independently
  • Able to lead apprentices and run jobs on-site
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
