The Opportunity

In what is likely to be long-term casual assignments our client requires experienced Warehouse professionals who are prepared to perform Forklift Operation (both Counterbalance & Reach) including manual handling duties. Don’t be mistaken, these are no ordinary roles and we’re looking for people who are prepared to commit and impress.

On the job training will be provided as our client treats all staff onsite equally. Located in the Moorabbin area this is a great opportunity to work with a Global Icon.

To be considered for this role you will need:

• A current Forklift licence
• Minimum 12 months recent experience operating a counterbalance forklift
• Strong Forklift Operation experience (Double Tyne highly regarded) in a distribution centre loading and unloading b-doubles, semis, vans and containers including storage and retrieval of stock
• Solid PC skills
• Good attention to detail
• A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• No physical restrictions
• Full working rights in Australia
• Current license and vehicle

All shifts are usually for a minimum of 7.5 hours, and overtime will be offered.

While these roles are casual, we’re only looking for people who can commit to the rosters and have a proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.

Short listed candidates will need to complete an online induction prior to being considered for a start and will need to attend a site tour prior to commencement.
