🚜 Backhoe & Truck Operator – Marsden Depot 🚛

Plant Operator | Local Government | 9-Day Fortnight

Love operating machinery but don’t mind jumping out to lend a hand on the tools? If you’re a skilled Backhoe Operator with a Truck Licence and solid labouring skills, this could be your next great move.

We’re looking for a hands-on operator who can confidently handle a Backhoe, legally drive it on the road, and pitch in with labouring duties — especially concrete work.

💰 What’s On Offer:

• $36 per hour + Super
  
• Monday to Friday | 6:30am – 3:30pm
  
• 9-day fortnight – Every second Friday off (RDO!)
  
• Marsden Depot – work close to home
  
• Casual contract with stable, full-time hours

🔧 The Role:

You’ll be a key member of the team, responsible for:

• Operating a Backhoe safely and efficiently
  
• Driving the Backhoe on public roads (valid truck licence required)
  
• General plant operation duties
  
• Assisting with labouring tasks on-site
  
• Supporting civil works, including concrete works (highly regarded)
  
• Contributing to a safe, productive work environment
  

This is a mixed role — perfect for someone who enjoys time in the cab but isn’t afraid to jump out and get their boots dirty.

✅ What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience operating a Backhoe
  
• Valid Truck Licence (required to drive Backhoe on-road)
  
• Demonstrated plant operating experience
  
• Labouring experience (essential)
  
• Concrete experience (highly desirable)
  
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
