Housing Supervisor

Our client, Queensland State Government, is seeking a Housing Supervisor (AO6) to oversee construction, maintenance, and upgrade works while ensuring service delivery and compliance across projects. This role is hands-on and safety focused.

• $61.64 p/h + Super
• Full-time hours (Mon–Fri)
• 6-month assignment with possibility of extension
• Cannon Hill, QLD

This role involves:

• Supervising the delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade works
• Producing tender and quotation documentation
• Coordinate property inspections and scoping, including building assessments and suspected asbestos sampling
• Managing contractors and overseeing on-site activities
• Participating in and facilitating Workplace Health & Safety audits and conducting on-site inspections
• Completing relevant project documentation and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience supervising construction and maintenance projects
• Knowledge of procurement frameworks and contract management
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer skills and experience preparing project documentation and reports
• Current Driver’s Licence (required)
