Got the skills to light things up and keep communities running? We’re chasing a qualified Electrician to jump into a hands-on role based in Molendinar — with work locked in until 21 July and a strong chance of extension 👀

Monday to Friday

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

* Service maintenance across government assets

* Electrical installs, repairs & “make safe” works

* Supporting minor projects and upgrades

* Working on **social housing & public infrastructure**

* Reading plans, diagrams & technical specs

* Using testing equipment and working safely on-site

* Mentoring apprentices and sharing your knowledge 👷‍♂️

* Using tech (laptops/handheld devices) to log jobs and updates

* 📍 Molendinar location

* 📅 **Now through to 21 July (potential extension)**

* 💼 Government-backed work – stable and meaningful

✅ Mandatory Requirements

You’ll need to tick these boxes:

* Full working rights in Australia

* Current QLD Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Mechanic minimum)

* Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent)

* Current CPR & Low Voltage Rescue certification

* White Card (Construction Induction)

* Current QLD C Class Driver’s Licence

Solid understanding of:

* AS/NZ3000 (Wiring Rules)

* Electrical Safety Act 2002

* Electrical Safety Regulations 2013

* Relevant Electrical Codes of Practice

⭐ Bonus Points (Highly Desirable)

* Data / communications experience

* Molex & data cabling

* CCTV / security systems

* Working at Heights (WAH)

* Data Cabling Licence

You’ll be working to strict WHS standards, including:

* Daily risk assessments & hazard identification

* Safe handling of high-risk materials (e.g. asbestos, lead-based products)

* Following all site safety rules and procedures

* Taking responsibility for your own safety—and your team’s
