We’re on the lookout for a Labourer to join our Ravenshoe Depot crew, working alongside the road patching team. If you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck into real work, keep reading 👇

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

* Acting as the offsider on patching works

* General labouring duties (yes, there will be shovelling!)

* Manual handling and physical outdoor work

* Supporting road maintenance tasks

* Working safely and efficiently as part of a team

⏰ The Good Stuff

* **Monday to Friday | 6:30am – 3:30pm

* **Every second Friday off (RDO!) 🎉

* **$35.62 per hour + super

* Casual start with **potential to go permanent

* Work for local government – steady, meaningful work in your community

✅ What You’ll Need

* **White Card (Construction Induction Card)** – essential

* **Class C Driver’s Licence** – required

* **Working in Proximity to Traffic (Level 1 & 2)** – required

* Ability to work safely, efficiently, and as part of a crew**

* A strong work ethic and willingness to get your hands dirty

🦺 PPE Requirements

You’ll need to come prepared with:

* High-vis long sleeve shirt (day/night compliant)

* Long work pants

* Steel cap safety boots

* Wide brim hat ☀️

* General purpose gloves

* Hearing protection (ear plugs)

* Sunscreen

* Traffic control PPE (stop/slow bat + reflective vest – day/night compliant)
