The Role:

As part of our cemetery operations team, you’ll be involved in a variety of important tasks, including:

• Preparing gravesites for burials
• Assisting with ash placements in columbarium walls and memorial gardens
• Installing headstones and plaques
• Supporting general cemetery maintenance and operations

This is hands-on, meaningful work where attention to detail and respect for others is key.

🕒 What’s in It for You

• $33.62 per hour + super
• Ongoing full-time hours (casual contract)
• Monday to Friday: 6:30am – 3:30pm. Every second Friday off (RDO!) 🙌
• Work outdoors in a calm, well-maintained environment

🚛 What You’ll Need

• LR Licence or higher
• White Card
• Your own PPE: * Safety boots * Hi-vis long sleeve shirt * Long pants * Wide brim hat ☀️

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Experience in a similar role (or transferable hands-on skills)
• Solid numeracy, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle light admin tasks when needed
• Strong teamwork and reliability
• Top-notch customer service skills** – especially when supporting grieving families with empathy and respect
• A safety-first mindset when performing manual tasks
