Construction Supervisor

Our client, a Queensland State Government department, is seeking a construction/site Supervisor to support the delivery of contracts and projects. You’ll play a key role supporting the planning, coordination and supervision of maintenance and construction activities across a diverse portfolio of government assets.

• $62.59 p.h + Super
•3-month assignment with possibility of extension
• Full time hours (Mon-Fri)
• Mount Isa, QLD 4825

This role involves:

• Producing high quality tender and quotation documentation for maintenance contracts and building projects
• Preparing accurate estimates, quotations, material lists and construction programs
• Supervising the delivery of maintenance, construction, and upgrade works
• Supporting and coordinating office staff, field staff, and subcontractors
• Conducting condition assessments and building surveys
• Undertaking tenancy management services and maintenance referrals
• Managing staff performance and conduct

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong knowledge of building construction and maintenance legislative and regulatory requirements
• Proven supervisory experience in construction or maintenance environments
• Experience with estimating, quoting, and interpreting plans
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices
• Clean open Driver’s Licence
