Our client, a Queensland water distributor-retailer, is seeking a Contracts Advisor to support the administration and management of contracts, financial data, and procurement activities. You’ll play a key role supporting accurate cost tracking and procurement processes across infrastructure projects.
• $40–$46 p.h + Super
• 9-month assignment
• Full time hours (Mon-Fri)
• Fortitude Valley, QLD 4006
This role involves:
- Administering contracts, including legacy contracts, documentation, and system updates
- Supporting cost tracking through setup and maintenance of projects and work orders
- Processing financial and investment-related transactions across systems
- Collecting, analysing, and reconciling data to support reporting and decision-making
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and moderately complex documents
- Managing document control, ensuring records are stored securely and accurately
- Supporting contract and project cost accounting, including accruals and claims reporting
- Assisting with procurement activities, including issuing work packages and contract variations
- Building relationships with internal stakeholders and providing support across the Commercial team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in procurement and contract lifecycle management
- Strong experience administering contracts within an ERP system; and Microsoft Excel skills
- Proven ability to manage financial data and contract spend
- Experience in data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
- Ability to prepare professional documentation and correspondence
- Experience working with infrastructure or utilities contracts desirable but not required
- Understanding of project cost tracking, KPIs, and claims processes desirable but not required
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business or similar desirable but not required
