Our client, a local QLD Council, is seeking an Administration Officer to provide high-quality administrative and customer service support. You’ll play a key role supporting daily operations and service delivery across the team.

• $38.05 p.h + Super
• 3 month assignment with possibility of extension
• Full time hours (Mon-Fri)
• Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast 4558

This role involves:

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to a team
  • Delivering high-quality customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Responding to enquiries, including sensitive matters, with professionalism and discretion
  • Data entry, record keeping, and document preparation with a high level of accuracy
  • Using Microsoft Office and internal systems (financial, property, mapping)
  • Supporting team objectives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Applying relevant procedures, policies, and guidelines in day-to-day tasks

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in customer service, local government, or similar administrative roles
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills across multiple channels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and applications
  • A positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to understand and apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Certificate III in Business Administration, Finance, Local Government, or equivalent experience highly regarded
