Senior Supervisor

Our client, a Queensland Government department, is seeking a Senior Supervisor to join the Maryborough team. You’ll play a key role supporting the delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade projects across the region.

• $68.90 p.h + Super
• 6-week assignment with possibility of extension
• Full time hours (Mon-Fri)
• Maryborough QLD 4650

This role involves:

• Planning and delivering projects through the supervision and development of staff and subcontractors, and the management of resources
• Monitoring and reviewing project standards, reporting to stakeholders on project delivery and service quality
• Managing regional resources to ensure projects comply with legislation and policies
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
• Managing the work performance and personal conduct of staff

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in contract and project management required
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of workplace health, safety, and HR practices
• Proficiency with MS Office and general administration
• A proactive, results-driven approach
