Senior Project Manager

Our client, a Queensland Government department, is seeking an AO7/1 Senior Project Manager to deliver key housing and infrastructure projects. You’ll be supporting the successful delivery of strategic construction projects across procurement, design, and implementation phases.

• $88.29 p.h + Super
• 5 month assignment with possibility of extension/permanency
• Full time hours (Mon-Fri)
• Brisbane City QLD 4000

This role involves:

• Managing end-to-end delivery of public housing and construction projects
• Driving procurement, design, construction, and implementation activities
• Interpreting design objectives into practical construction outcomes
• Managing project schedules, budgets, and scope
• Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across multiple parties
• Ensuring projects align with departmental strategy and objectives

The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant experience in the construction industry
• Proven experience managing complex projects and stakeholder environments
• Strong ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and scope
• Proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel
• Tertiary qualification in Project Management/Construction/Engineering/Architecture or related field highly desirable
• C Class drivers license
