Our client, a Queensland State Government department, is seeking a Business Support Officer (AO3) to provide efficient and high standards of customer service. You’ll play a key role supporting fleet management, administration, and stakeholder liaison.
• $51.12 p.h + Super
• 6-week assignment with possibility of extension/permanency
• Full time hours (Mon-Fri)
• Garbutt, Townsville 4814
This role involves:
- Monitoring and managing internal and external correspondence and telephone calls, ensuring timely responses
- Working in a high-volume environment with KPIs and performance monitoring
- Connecting with industry, local suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure service delivery
- Compiling accurate documents and reports, updating records in Ellipse and Microsoft Office
- Undertaking fleet car bookings (UMS)
- Developing and maintaining procedures, manuals, and registers
The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive, professional attitude and commitment to contributing to a supportive team culture
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and familiarity with record-keeping systems
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and exceptional customer service skills
- Experience developing or maintaining procedures, manuals, or registers is highly desirable
