We are currently seeking experienced Labourers with arboriculture experience to join a busy council operations team based across Petrie and Arana Hills.

This is a hands-on outdoor role working across parks, roads, drains, and infrastructure maintenance projects. Candidates must be reliable, safety-focused, and able to work collaboratively with different crews across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general labouring duties on construction and maintenance projects

Assist with parks, tree, roadside, and infrastructure maintenance works

Carry out natural area operational works

Basic concrete formwork, placement, and finishing

Lay pipes and assist with signage installation/repairs and traffic control devices

Secure loads using ropes and inspect/store slings safely

Handle and safely dispose of materials and waste

Operate and maintain plant, tools, and PPE in accordance with safety procedures

Work across various crews and locations to support operational requirements

About You:

Previous arboriculture or tree maintenance experience required

Current MR Licence essential

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to follow safety instructions and read basic plans

Demonstrated experience in a similar labouring or maintenance role

Positive attitude and willingness to work across different teams and locations
