Senior Landscape Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Landscape Architect (Technical) to join a dynamic design team on a contract basis.

Location: Logan, QLD
Contract Duration: 01 June 2026 – 01 December 2026
Pay Rate: $58.06 per hour + superannuation

About the Role

Reporting under the general direction of the Parks Design Coordinator, the Senior Landscape Architect will provide high-level design and technical support across a range of projects including parks, open space, road landscape, and urban design initiatives.

The role requires the ability to work independently, applying established design practices while exercising initiative and professional judgement to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional landscape architecture and urban design advice
• Deliver design solutions for parks, open space, and road landscape projects
• Prepare accurate and high-quality design documentation
• Use initiative to apply established technical and design practices
• Support planning and delivery of open space and public realm projects
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree) in Landscape Architecture or related design field
• Proven experience in a professional landscape architecture environment
• Strong ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality design outcomes
• High-level proficiency in:
  • Freehand sketching and conceptual design
  • AutoCAD
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Desktop publishing and presentation software
  • Microsoft Office Suite
