## Human Resources Manager - remote – Mining Operations

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and establish the full HR function supporting remote mining operations for the Tolukuma Mine project. This role will play a critical part in building a high-performing workforce while ensuring compliance, workforce capability, and operational efficiency across site, logistics, and corporate functions.

Working within a complex remote mining environment, you will oversee workforce mobilisation, industrial relations, HR systems development, and labour compliance while partnering closely with operational leaders and stakeholders.

### Key Responsibilities

* Establish and manage the end-to-end HR function for mining operations
* Lead workforce mobilisation and onboarding processes
* Manage industrial and employee relations matters
* Ensure compliance with PNG labour laws, policies, and workplace standards
* Develop HR systems, procedures, and workforce frameworks
* Support leadership teams with workforce planning and performance management
* Drive a strong safety, compliance, and high-performance culture
* Engage effectively with community stakeholders and culturally diverse teams
* Provide strategic HR support across site, logistics, and corporate operations

### About You

* Minimum 10 years’ HR management experience
* Background within mining, oil & gas, or remote project operations highly regarded
* Strong experience in workforce mobilisation and industrial relations
* Demonstrated ability to develop HR systems and procedures
* Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making capability
* Able to operate effectively in high-pressure and remote environments
* Commercially minded with a focus on operational delivery and cost management
* High level of cultural awareness and stakeholder engagement skills
* Structured, organised, and process-driven approach
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
