Industrial Electrician – Manufacturing & Aluminium Fabrication

💰 $50 – $55/hr + Super
📍 Australia (Site-based role)
🕒 Day Shift (Approx. 6:00am – 2:00pm) + occasional weekend work

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Electrician to join a leading Australian manufacturer and distributor of fabricated and semi-fabricated aluminium products. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term employment with a reputable organisation offering stable hours and potential for permanent placement.

About the Role

You will be responsible for electrical maintenance, fault finding, and installation work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves supporting production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining safe and efficient operations across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations on industrial machinery

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in production equipment

• Work with PLC-controlled systems and automated machinery

• Support preventative maintenance programs

• Ensure all work is completed in line with WHS and electrical safety standards

• Assist with general site electrical upgrades and improvements

• Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams

Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician (Electrical Licence required)

• Industrial electrical experience (commercial/residential experience also considered)

• Experience working with PLC systems

• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket – working above 11m highly regarded

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work day shifts with occasional weekend work

• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
