The Role

As Production & Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily plant operations and driving operational performance across the facility.

You will work closely with supervisors and production teams to optimise labour utilisation, improve operational efficiency, manage resources effectively and deliver strong production outcomes while maintaining a safe and positive workplace culture.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, analysing data, identifying opportunities for improvement and turning insights into action.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support production teams across multiple operational areas
• Analyse production performance, labour utilisation and operational data to improve efficiency
• Drive resource planning and workforce optimisation
• Monitor production, quality, yield and downtime performance
• Coordinate maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability
• Champion workplace safety and compliance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects
• Prepare and present operational reports and recommendations

About You

We are open to candidates from a range of manufacturing, processing, production, agricultural or industrial environments.

Most importantly, you will bring:

• 2–5 years or more experience in production, manufacturing, operations or processing environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• The ability to interpret operational data and make informed decisions
• A passion for improving efficiency and performance
• Strong communication and leadership potential
• A hands-on approach and willingness to learn
• Experience leading teams or coordinating operational activities will be highly regarded
