About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Yards person / Forklift operator to join their busy construction machinery team in Wacol.

This is much more than a forklift role. A hands-on position responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading and presentation of construction and mining equipment throughout the modenr facility. The role combines forklift operation, yard coordination, machine preparation and general site support within a busy heavy equipment environment

Key Responsibilities

• Process orders, stock movements and invoices using the company computer system
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide excellent service
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work environment
• Support the wider team with day-to-day warehouse operations

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current LF Forklift Licence.
• Experience working around heavy machinery, transport or industrial yards.
• Strong awareness of workplace safety.
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors.
• Basic mechanical aptitude (highly regarded).
• Experience with loaders, telehandlers, EWP, dogman or rigging tickets would be advantageous but not always essential
