About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Events Coordinator to join a dynamic team delivering a diverse range of events across one of the Gold Coast's most vibrant venues.

Working closely with clients and stakeholders, you'll coordinate corporate, hospitality and special events from enquiry through to delivery, creating exceptional experiences every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage event and function enquiries via phone, email and in person
  • Coordinate bookings from initial enquiry through to event delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, event documentation and booking confirmations
  • Liaise with clients to finalise event requirements including catering, beverages and venue logistics
  • Produce event orders, seating plans, floor plans and operational documentation
  • Manage booking systems, reservations and event administration
  • Process payments and final invoicing for events and functions
  • Conduct venue inspections and client meetings
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Provide support during event delivery and assist with resolving any issues that arise
  • Assist with converting enquiries into confirmed bookings and maintaining repeat business opportunities
  • Ensure all event information is communicated accurately and within required timeframes


About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring previous experience coordinating events and enjoy working in a role where no two days are the same.

You will ideally possess:

  • Previous experience in an Events Coordinator, Functions Coordinator or similar role
  • Experience within hospitality, hotels, entertainment venues, conference centres, stadiums or other high-volume event environments
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple events and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine passion for customer service and creating memorable event experiences

Additional Information

This role will involve occasional Saturday work as part of a rotating roster to support event operations. Flexibility around event schedules is essential.
