$69.21 per hour + Super | State Government | Immediate Start | Cannon Hill

We're partnering with a respected Queensland Government organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Business Support Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where you'll oversee a high-performing business support function, influence operational outcomes and work closely with senior stakeholders.

  • Full-time temp contract through to 21 August 2026, with the possibility of extension

The role

You'll lead the Business Support team, oversee day to day operations and work closely with senior leaders to ensure the business support function is running efficiently, compliantly and continuously improving.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring and developing a Business Support team
  • Managing team performance, workloads and operational outcomes
  • Driving business improvement initiatives and implementing new processes
  • Providing high-level operational and administrative advice to senior leaders
  • Reviewing work practices and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies, procedures and business systems
  • Preparing reports, analysing data and supporting informed decision-making
  • Managing escalated customer enquiries and delivering exceptional stakeholder service
  • Fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture

About you

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people just as much as improving the way a business operates.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Previous leadership experience within business support, administration or operations
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements within a complex organisation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to influence positive change
  • Experience within Government, construction, infrastructure or another large, complex organisation will be highly regarded
