🔐 Cyber Security Specialist – Contract Opportunity | Carseldine, QLD (Hybrid)

Are you a cyber security professional who loves finding risks before the bad guys do? 🚨

We're looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join a high-impact project team and help strengthen security governance, risk management, and architecture across a large, complex environment.

📍 Location: Carseldine, QLD (Hybrid)
📅 Contract: 27 July 2026 – 24 December 2026
💰 Rate: Open for negotiation (hourly)

What you'll be doing: ✅ Reviewing projects, designs, and technical solutions through a security lens
✅ Conducting threat and risk assessments
✅ Providing practical security advice aligned to best-practice frameworks
✅ Working closely with business and technical stakeholders
✅ Supporting security governance, risk, and compliance initiatives

We're keen to speak with professionals who have: 🔹 5+ years of cyber security, security architecture, or information security experience
🔹 Strong GRC and risk management expertise
🔹 Exposure to frameworks such as ISO 27001, ASD ISM, Essential Eight, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS
🔹 Experience within government, transport, or other large enterprise environments
🔹 Knowledge of ISMS development, policies, standards, and security assurance
