About the Role

Reporting into the Distribution Centre leadership team, you'll be responsible for leading warehouse operations across your shift, ensuring operational targets are consistently achieved while creating a safe, engaged and high-performing team culture.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll balance people leadership with operational excellence in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, replenishment, inventory, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
• Monitoring and improving KPIs including productivity, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, labour utilisation and on-time dispatch.
• Working collaboratively with Customer Service, Transport, Inventory, Planning and Branch Operations teams.
• Investigating inventory discrepancies, damaged stock, customer issues and operational challenges.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing supervisors and warehouse employees.
• Managing shift communication, handovers, incident reporting and equipment compliance.

About You

You're an experienced operations leader who thrives in fast-paced warehouse or distribution environments. You know how to motivate people, solve problems and deliver operational results without compromising safety.

You'll ideally bring:

• 5c+ years' experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution operations.
• Proven experience leading large warehouse teams or multiple supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and distribution processes.
• Experience managing operational KPIs and workforce planning.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication, coaching and leadership skills.
• The ability to remain organised, adaptable and calm under pressure.
• A customer-focused mindset with a passion for operational excellence.
• A current Forklift Licence (advantageous).
