HC/MC Truck Driver - Join a growing team

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated HC/MC Truck Driver to join our clients team in Bendigo.

Our client is a successful privately owned manufacturer with their own fleet of trucks, offering a stable long-term opportunity for the right person. This role will suit a driver who takes pride in their work, values safety, and is willing to be involved in all aspects of the operation - not just driving.

About the role

This position involves the safe and efficient operation of HC or MC vehicles, ensuring loads are transported and delivered in line with company and road safety requirements.

In addition to driving duties, the successful candidate will also be expected to assist with manual handling, loading and unloading support, and general yard or operational duties as required.

Key responsibilities

• Safe operation of HC/MC vehicles
• Conducting pre-start checks and vehicle inspections
• Securing and transporting loads safely and efficiently
• Assisting with loading and unloading where required
• Completing transport paperwork and related documentation accurately
• Carrying out general manual labour and yard duties
• Maintaining vehicles in a clean and presentable condition
• Following all company safety procedures and road transport regulations

Essential requirements

• Current HC or MC Truck Licence
• Current Road Ranger gearbox certificate / competency
• Proven experience operating heavy vehicles
• Strong knowledge of road transport regulations
• Ability to complete required paperwork and transport documentation
• Excellent driving record
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
