Pay Rate: $33.85 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Work Type: Ongoing casual - Overtime available + some Saturday work

A great opportunity is available for an experienced Storeperson / Warehouse Operator seeking ongoing casual work, consistent rostered hours, and regular overtime.

The opportunity

This is a strong opportunity to join a well-established and growing business in an ongoing casual assignment based in Salisbury South.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated warehouse professional who is comfortable with manual handling tasks and enjoys working as part of a team. On-the-job training will be provided, and all staff onsite are treated equally and supported to succeed.

There may also be some requirement to assist with van driving when needed, so presentation and professionalism around customers will be important.

Duties include

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Replenishing stock
• Pallet wrapping
• Manual handling and general warehouse duties
• Operating a reach forklift if licensed
• Assisting with van driving when required

To be considered, you will need

• Previous warehouse or storeperson experience
• A willingness to perform manual handling tasks
• Availability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
• Solid PC skills
• Good attention to detail
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• The ability to work well in a team environment
• A professional and presentable manner when interacting with customers
• A current Police Check or willing to obtain one after one month of commencing the assignment

Desirable but not essential

• A current Forklift Licence
• Experience operating a reach forklift
• Previous delivery or van driving experience
