Groundstaff / Turf Maintenance Labourer (Commercial Turf Weeding)

Our client is a market leading, locally owned and operated team of sports turf and horticultural professionals with more than 40 years of experience delivering high-quality sports field, racing and landscape projects across Victoria.

We are seeking motivated and reliable Groundstaff to assist with the manual weeding and maintenance of approximately 20,000 square metre grids of commercial turf.

About the Role

• Manual identification and removal of weeds from established turf areas
  
• Walking large turf areas throughout the workday.
  
• Workdays will ideally be Monday to Wednesday (weather permitting)
  
• Maintaining presentation standards across commercial landscapes
  
• Working safely as part of a professional grounds maintenance team
  
  Requirements
  
• Physically fit and healthy
  
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  
• Capable of walking, bending, kneeling and standing for extended periods
  
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
  
• Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping or turf experience is desirable but by no means essential. Training provided.
  
• Own car and clean licence.
  
• Steel capped boots and long sleeved Fluro shirt.
