Nerang Gold Coast | $51.12 per hour + super | Short-Term Contract

We are recruiting a Procurement Support Officer for a Queensland Government opportunity based in Nerang.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration and data entry skills who enjoys working with detail, processes and documentation. Previous procurement experience would be highly regarded, however it isn’t essential if you’re accurate, organised and confident working across high-volume administrative tasks.

    About the role

    You’ll join a busy tendering team supporting the processing of tenders across South East Queensland, including works associated with planned customer programs.

    The role will involve providing administrative and procurement support to ensure tender information is processed accurately and efficiently.

    Your day could include:
  • Processing tender and procurement documentation
  • Entering and updating information accurately across internal systems
  • Reviewing documents and information for accuracy and completeness
  • Supporting the administration of tenders valued under $250,000
  • Maintaining procurement records and documentation
  • Assisting the wider tendering team with general administration
  • Following established processes, procedures and timeframes
  • Managing a high volume of detailed information while maintaining accuracy

    **Who we’re looking for**

    You don’t necessarily need to be a procurement specialist.

    We’d love to speak with you if you have:
  • Strong administration or business support experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Confidence working with systems, documents and spreadsheets
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to follow processes carefully
  • A reliable and methodical approach to your work
  • Confidence working in a busy, deadline-driven environment

    Experience within procurement, tendering, purchasing, contracts, government or project administration would be highly regarded.

    Procurement Level 1, 2 or 3 training or qualifications would also be viewed favourably, but are **not essential.
